Grand Hyatt Baha Mar Promotes Braedan Quigley to Director of Sales and Marketing
Grand Hyatt Baha Mar is delighted to announce the promotion of Braedan Quigley to director of sales and marketing. A results-oriented Hyatt leader with two decades of experience in hospitality sales roles, Quigley will now oversee all sales and marketing functions for the 1,800-room luxury resort.
“Braedan's proven track record of success and experience working in Caribbean and South Florida markets, as well as with the Hyatt brand as a 17-year veteran, make him the ideal candidate to sustain Grand Hyatt Baha Mar's marketing initiatives post-opening,” said Scott Allen general manager, Grand Hyatt Baha Mar.
Most recently area director of sales and marketing for Hyatt Caribbean Resorts, which also includes properties in Aruba and Key West, Quigley managed annual revenue goals in excess of $100 million and established record revenues and net operating income for each resort during his tenure. Prior director and manager-level positions include roles at: Hyatt Regency O'Hare/Rosemont, Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort, Spa, & Marina and Grand Hyatt Denver, Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort in New Mexico, Grand Hyatt San Diego and Atlantis Paradise Island.
“With 1,800 rooms and 200,000 square feet of meeting and event space to work with, I'm eager to build on Grand Hyatt Baha Mar's success and increase our presence to appeal to corporate groups, destination weddings, leisure and family travelers,” said Quigley.
A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Quigley received a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management and began his career at Hyatt Regency Austin in the corporate management training program. In 2014, he received Hyatt Sales Team of the Year and was nominated for Director of Sales of the Year. He currently serves as Hyatt Resort Alliance Chairman.
