Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington D.c. Convention Center to Unveil Completion of $30 Million Renovation Next Month

The Top-To-Bottom Renovation Introduces Fully Redesigned Guest Suites, Public Spaces, Enhanced Amenities, A New Restaurant, and State of The Art Meeting Spaces

Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington D.C. Convention Center is pleased to introduce the completion of its full property $30 million renovation that includes a complete transformation to the hotel featuring a fresh, modern redesign.

The extensive renovation includes the complete overhaul of the property's 388 two-room suites, fitness center and pool, lobby and public spaces, along with an upgrade to its 12,000 sq. ft meeting and event space, and a new on-site restaurant, Brickstones Kitchen & Bar. An official celebration to mark the completion of the renovation will take place at the property in early October.

Conveniently located at 900 10th St. NW, the hotel is in the heart of D.C.'s City Center, situated in the vibrant neighborhoods of Shaw and Penn Quarter, with easy access to the National Mall, museums, monuments, multiple Metro stations, and walking distance to upscale shopping, dining and entertainment.

Each room in the property features a two-room suite, with King and Double Bed configurations, equipped with two HDTVs, kitchenettes with a mini refrigerator and microwave, a full-sized sofa bed and a private living area. The property enhancements include the addition of a 950 sq. ft. Hospitality Suite and 1,200 sq. ft. Presidential Suite that features two separate bedrooms with sweeping views of the city skyline and a full-sized kitchen. The interior design reflects the spirit of D.C.'s historic Shaw neighborhood with custom artwork and decor that highlights the significance of the city's deep arts and cultural impact on the neighborhood. The sophisticated design features a color palette of cool toned blues, greys, and whites with sleek marble surfacing and warm, welcoming woods. The hotel's lobby welcomes visitors to a revamped open space featuring new flooring, lounge decor, furniture and contemporary fixtures.

Guests at Embassy Suites can enjoy a daily complimentary made-to-order full American breakfast, complimentary light snacks and drinks at a nightly reception, as well as room service and a 24-hour marketplace. The hotel is also proud to welcome the addition of Brickstones Kitchen & Bar, an on-site contemporary restaurant that offers elevated American cuisines with a variety of shareable appetizers and pub fare, pizzas and flatbreads, burgers and sandwiches, main dishes and a full-sized bar with signature cocktails, beer and wine.

The property's makeover touches every space within the hotel including a complete transformation of the 24/7 fitness center, increasing in size from 800 sq. ft. to 1,700 sq. ft., and equipped with Life Fitness state-of-the-art treadmills, indoor cycles, weights stations, and strength training equipment, along with a refurbished indoor heated swimming pool. Additional enhancements include an expansion to the flexible meeting and event spaces totaling 12,000 sq. ft. and the addition of a lobby level meeting room with floor to ceiling windows providing natural light. All meeting rooms are equipped with A/V equipment.

The pandemic provoked more than a global health crisis. It also disrupted world economies, financial markets and social systems on a massive scale. Naturally, there are legal consequences associated with this kind of severe business disruption and the issues will be litigated for years to come.
