Jackson-Shaw Appoints Mark Kirsch as General Manager for Dual-Branded Las Vegas Symphony Park Hotel

USA, Las Vegas, Nevada. July 01, 2025

Jackson-Shaw, a national real estate developer headquartered in North Texas, announces the hiring of Mark Kirsch as General Manager for its dual-branded AC Hotel by Marriott Symphony Park and Element by Westin Symphony Park in Las Vegas.

"We're proud to welcome industry veteran Mark Kirsch as General Manager," said Jackson-Shaw Senior Vice President of Hospitality Management Joe Blewitt. "Most recently a Regional Director for Tharaldson Hospitality, Mark oversaw 12 properties comprising 1,186 rooms, 275 employees and $85 million in annual revenue. He's a seasoned hospitality leader with deep experience managing both full-service and select-service hotels across premier brands, including Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt and IHG."

The two hotels, seamlessly connected under one roof, are located on the south side of South Grand Central Parkway at Symphony Park Avenue — between the World Market Center and The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. Sharing a single address, the five-story development will offer 441 high-quality guest rooms and is slated to open in September 2025.

"I'm especially excited about this opportunity because Symphony Park is an exceptional location for a new hotel, offering a vibrant, walkable district in the heart of downtown Las Vegas and close proximity to world-class cultural venues," said Kirsch. "With continued residential and commercial growth, plus convenient access to major highways and the World Market Center, Symphony Park is quickly becoming a premier destination for travelers seeking an upscale, non-gaming hospitality experience."

The hotel is being developed in partnership with Compatriot Capital, with construction financing provided by Hall Structured Finance. Grand Canyon Development Partners is serving as construction manager, Whiting-Turner as general contractor and Cooper Carry as the project architect.
