JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa Names Colin Mills as New General Manager
JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa, part of Marriott's luxury and lifestyle portfolio, has announced the appointment of Colin Mills as General Manager. Bringing a distinguished 25-year career within Marriott International, Mills is set to elevate the resort's renowned guest experience and operational excellence, building on his proven track record of driving record revenues and transforming properties.
Mills joins the beachfront resort following a series of impactful leadership roles across the Marriott portfolio. Most recently, he served as General Manager of the Sheraton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort. Prior to that, he held several key positions at JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes, including Director of Operations, Director of Food & Beverage, and Director of Event Management, where he played a pivotal role in elevating guest experiences, enhancing team engagement, and driving strategic property initiatives.
Known for cultivating high-performing teams and executing strategic property transformations, Mills has also held leadership roles at resorts in St. Kitts, New Orleans, and Boston, consistently driving improvements in associate engagement, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
