Tecton Announces New Ramada Orlando
Celebration Resort & Convention Center
MAY 27, 2008. Tecton Hospitality announced today that it has signed a contract to manage the Ramada Orlando Celebration Resort & Convention Center. The hotel was formerly known as the Orlando Sun Resort. This is Tecton's first convention center hotel and property in Orlando, Fla.
It is located at 6375 West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee, Fla., just outside the gates of Walt Disney World Resort(R). The Ramada Orlando Celebration Hotel & Convention Center has 919 rooms, 28 suites and is situated on 77 acres. The hotel also has 60,000 square feet of ideal meeting, convention and exhibition space. Other amenities include two restaurants, fitness center, three tennis courts, four pools and four children's pools.
In addition, Rob Watson, who is a Tecton veteran of 10 years, has been named general manager of the hotel. He was most recently the general manager of the Sheraton Atlantic Beach in North Carolina.
