Wendy Rahier Appointed Spa Director Caesars Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ, May 29, 2008. Caesars Atlantic City is pleased to announce the appointment of Wendy Rahier as Spa Director of Qua Baths & Spa, the resplendent new spa set to open in summer 2008. Drawing on 17 years of experience in the health spa industry, Rahier is responsible for all operations at Qua in Atlantic City, a $15 million creation designed by Hirsch Bedner & Associates.

Rahier has enjoyed a stellar career since plunging into the world of health spas in the early 1990s, including as an owner, consultant and director for top-rated spas. Prior to joining Qua at Caesars Atlantic City, she had been consulting for nine years at a series of spas across the U.S., most recently at the new Elements Spa at Hilton Palms Springs in California.
Prior assignments included overseeing the lobby remodeling and branding of The Parker Palm Springs Spa, which was not only rated #5 in the U.S. by Cond'e Nast Traveler but was also recognized in the magazine's Gold List. Other properties that have drawn on her expertise include the new South Coast Winery Resort & Spa in Temecula, California; Laughlin Ranch, a planned golf community in Bullhead City, Arizona; four health spas and fitness centers in Oregon developed by RMD and Associates; and the Ridge Spa and Racquet Club in Sedona, Arizona.
From 1992-1998, Rahier owned and operated four Feminine Fitness Health Spas in the northwest, including Battle Ground, Vancouver and Camas, Washington. She also ran the self-titled Rahier Personal Training Studio and Health Club in Astoria, Oregon, from 1998-2000.
A native of Vancouver, Washington, Rahier earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Corporate Fitness from Central Washington University in 1991. She currently resides in Hammonton, New Jersey.
