Benchmark Names Charles Reece GM for Eaglewood Resort
HOUSTON, TX, August 18, 2008. Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Charles Reece as general manager for the award-winning Eaglewood Resort & Spa of Itasca, Illinois, near Chicago. Greg Parsons, vice president for Benchmark, made the announcement.

Charles Reece was previously the vice president hotel operations at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut. Mr. Reece comes to Eaglewood Resort & Spa with extensive experience with luxury hotels and gaming properties. He previously held senior management positions with the Hilton Harrisburg, where he served as assistant general manager; the Hershey Philadelphia Hotel, where he was resident manager; and the Vista International Hotels in Kansas City and New York.
Mr. Reece has also worked in the gaming industry with properties such as Resorts Atlantic City, where he served as vice president hotel operations; at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, and Foxwoods Resort Casino.
Born and educated in Georgetown, Guyana, Charles Reece is an avid golfer and family man. He and wife are relocating to the Chicagoland area. The couple's two sons are students at the University of Maryland and Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
