Benchmark Appoints Lance Dorsey Director of Facilities

HOUSTON, TX, August 29, 2008. Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Lance Dorsey as director of facilities for The Chattanoogan, the urban resort located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Tom Cupo, Benchmark's general manager at the resort, made the announcement.

Lance Dorsey was previously director of facilities for Virginia Crossings Resort, located in Richmond. He comes to his newest assignment with nearly 25 years of experience in engineering and vast expertise with HVAC, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic controls. He has worked as chief engineer for a number of hotel properties previously, supervising large teams of specialists.
Mr. Dorsey has also served as maintenance supervisor and facilities site supervisor at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Earlier in his career he was responsible for the daily operation of utility systems in a critical operations center for the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. Lance Dorsey and his wife are relocating to Chattanooga.
