HEI Appoints GM of Crowne Plaza San Antonio-Riverwalk
SAN ANTONIO, TX, September 18, 2008. HEI Hotels & Resorts, the nation's fastest growing private owner/operator of hotel real estate, today announced the appointment of Joyce Lyle-Freeman as the new general manager of the Crowne Plaza San Antonio Hotel-Riverwalk, a 410-room, AAA 4-Diamond hotel.

Lyle-Freeman has worked in executive hotel and restaurant management positions throughout her career. Most recently, she was general manager of The Sanderling Resort & Spa on North Carolina's Outer Banks where she was able to increase occupancy 25% in 2007. Prior to that, she was general manager of the Radisson High Point City Center in High Point, North Carolina. In her career she has overseen extensive renovation projections and led teams that have won Sales Team of the Year.
