Expansion Of Indigo Bay Island Resort Kicks Off
MOZAMBIQUE, October 13, 2005. Accommodation at Indigo Bay Island Resort situated on Bazaruto Island in the Bazaruto Archipelago, Mozambique is to be enhanced and expanded. Existing Bay View Rooms will be upgraded to Bay view Suites, each featuring a large private patio with rim-flow pool, private "sala" and sunken dining area. Once the project is completed, the Resort will boast 12 new suites consisting of master bedroom and second bedroom.
Construction begins this November and will be completed by October 2006. Special "modular" construction techniques have been employed, which enable the construction of the parts required for the renovation of the rooms to be undertaken off-site. The final phase of the expansion will be the addition of six Beach Chalets to be added to the existing 24 chalets currently available. Again, a modular, pre-fabricated technique will be applied to minimise impact on guests, and where required, adjacent chalets will be closed off to further limit any interference. The Beach Chalet expansion program commences in February 2006 and will be completed by November 2006. Indigo Bay Island Resort already features a fantastic range of facilities, including a beach centre, stables and its own asphalt airstrip.
Pemba Beach Resort Hotel also under expansion
38 rooms and two suites are being added to the Pemba Beach Resort Hotel, situated in Pemba , the capital city of Cabo Delgado Province in Northern Mozambique. The new rooms will provide a heightened level of comfort and luxury, all having ocean views, spacious verandas or patios, spacious, lavishly appointed bedrooms and bathrooms, including separate bath and shower, air conditioning, mini bar, satellite TV to mention a few of many features. Construction commenced on 01 July 2005 and will be completed by August 2006.
Both Indego and Pemba Beach Hotel are run by Rani Resorts, a subsidiary of the United Arab Emirates Rani International.
