Ramada Mall of America Completes Extensive Renovation
Formerly the Thunderbird Hotel
BLOOMINGTON, MN, October 14, 2008. The nostalgic Ramada Mall of America - formerly known as the Thunderbird Hotel and Convention Center, one of the upper Midwest's most well known hotels - has announced the completion of an extensive renovation project that started earlier this year. Renovations and upgrades were made in the hotel's public spaces and in all 255 guest rooms.
Located adjacent to the Mall of America and in close proximity to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, the Ramada Mall of America features 32,000 square feet of flexible meeting and convention space. Extensive renovations were also made to the main lobby and courtyard which include comfortable sitting areas and a new courtyard bar which serves guests poolside during the summer months.
