Travis Blaney Appointed DF&B at Cheyenne Mountain Resort
HOUSTON, TX, November 5, 2008. Benchmark Hospitality International has appointed Travis Blaney director of food and beverage for the award-winning Cheyenne Mountain Resort, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Laura Neumann, vice president and general manager, made the announcement.

"He has served our company with great skill over the past five years, and has become a vital part of our team here at Cheyenne while assisting us over the past several months. Travis Blaney has served Benchmark Hospitality International in several key roles during the past five years. Most recently, as corporate food and beverage manager he was on assignment for the company at Cheyenne Mountain Resort.
Previous to this, Mr. Blaney was project food and beverage manager for Benchmark Hospitality, responsible for opening the company's newest properties, including Naples Bay Resort. He has also served as director of restaurants at West Baden Springs Hotel and French Lick Resort Casino, where he led the opening of thirteen revenue centers between the two sister properties.
Mr. Blaney began his tenure with Benchmark Hospitality International at Lansdowne Resort, the company's east coast flagship property. While there, he quickly progressed from assistant restaurant manager to opening clubhouse dining room manager upon Benchmark's launching of The Golf Club at Lansdowne, the Mid-Atlantic's premier private golf facility.
Prior to joining Benchmark Hospitality International, Mr. Blaney invested three years with Hilton Corporation in positions of increasing responsibility while studying at the University of Pittsburgh. He is relocating to Colorado Springs.
