Safemark Systems Hires VP, Operations
ORLANDO, FL, November 18, 2008. Safemark Systems, a leading provider of in-room safes to the hospitality market, strengthened its already-deep executive team by naming 18-year industry veteran Michael LeMoine as the firm's new Vice President of Operations.
"Michael's a well-known and well-respected figure in this industry," said George Oelschig, President of Safemark Systems. "Adding him to the team is a benefit not only to our firm, but to our many hospitality clients who look to us to assess and fulfill their property-security needs."
LeMoine has seen all sides of the business since getting his start in 1990, handling responsibilities in after-market sales, service, project management, and product training over that time. In his most recent role at ASSA ABLOY Hospitality as field services manager, U.S. and Canada, LeMoine not only implemented new reporting systems to improve internal efficiency but also led a sales initiative that exceeded the first-half 2008 sales goal. In coming to Safemark, LeMoine says that "I'm impressed with the high priority that is placed on customer service. The service culture that's in place at Safemark is an incredible one that I'm proud to be a part of and to which I look forward to contributing my experience and knowledge."
LeMoine's new responsibilities at Safemark involve the oversight of inventory, logistics, customer service and other critical operational elements. "I've been working with customers in this business for a long time, so I understand how they think as well as how we think," said LeMoine. "My new colleagues and I have the experience to be able to anticipate customer needs, which will result in consistently excellent service from Safemark."
Safemark offers a wide variety of superior guest-room safes in various configurations, all designed to meet the needs of travelers and businesses. Depending on their size and shape, the safes can conveniently store items such as laptops, palm pilots, video and digital cameras, purses, jewelry, and more. Most recently, Safemark introduced the XL Desk Drawer Safe, a larger version of its popular safe that can be secured within a desk drawer for easy access as well as ultimate security for travelers' irreplaceable items.
"There is tremendous opportunity in the hospitality security industry right now," LeMoine noted. "Safemark is a growing firm that gave me a great opportunity at the right time. I'm excited to be here."
