The Setai Appoints Philippe Parodi as New DOSM

MIAMI, FL, December 9, 2008. The Setai, South Beach's premier hotel and residences, is pleased to announce the appointment of Philippe Parodi as Director of Sales and Marketing. Philippe brings to the position over 18 years of hospitality experience, specifically within sales and marketing.

Philippe joins The Setai from the nearby Regent Bal Harbour where he also held the position of DOSM. Since May 2006 Philippe has been responsible for property pre-opening and brand development (both in the destination and within the luxury hotel marketplace). Previously, Philippe was the Regional Director of Marketing for Morgans Hotel Group managing their well-known Miami properties The Delano and Shore Club. His expertise within the Miami market and access to a high-end clientele made him an ideal appointment to The Setai's executive management team.

Prior to moving to Miami, Philippe was employed in France, working in five-star hotels as the DOSM at the Hotel Martinez in Cannes and The Hotel de Crillon in Paris focusing on sales from the US market.
