TynanGroup Appoints Alex Stanford Director of Renovations
SANTA BARBARA, CA, December 22, 2008 - TynanGroup, Inc., a leader in the real estate development industry, has announced the promotion of Alex Stanford to Director of Renovations. In his new role, Alex will apply his rich background in the hospitality industry to oversee and direct TynanGroup's renovation projects throughout the Unites States.
Alex Stanford began his career at TynanGroup with the conversion and re-branding of the Argent Hotel into the Westin San Francisco Market Street. Following the completion of the Westin Market Street, Alex led the preconstruction effort and renovation of the Sheraton Arlington in Texas, and then transitioned to his current role, overseeing the extensive, $30 million renovation of the historic Knickerbocker Hotel in Chicago. In addition to the Knickerbocker Hotel, Alex has commenced overseeing three redevelopment projects in New York: the Sheraton Manhattan, On the Avenue Hotel, and the Doubletree Metropolitan.
Alex holds valuable insight and knowledge of the hospitality industry and utilizes his detail-oriented skills to thoroughly manage complex renovation and conversion projects he is assigned.
