Leo Illouz Elected CEO at Bartech Systems International

BWI CORRIDOR, MD, October 17, 2005. Bartech Systems International, a premier provider of minibar solutions and the leader in automatic minibar technology, today announced that Leo Illouz, age 54, has been elected to the position of Chief Executive Officer. He joined the company May 15, 2000 as president EMEA.

"The company has significantly strengthened its balance sheet," Illouz said. "Now that Bartech is in good physical condition, I will focus my efforts on improving operating results through strategic operating plans and retaining and attracting the best people to ensure long term growth and success in the US market that remains strategically very important for the organization."

Prior to joining Bartech, Mr. Illouz served in a number of operating and executive capacities in the pharmaceutical industry concluding his career at Organon (Akzo Nobel Group) as international marketing business unit manager. Prior to Akzo Nobel, he was the sales manager at Astra Zeneca France.

Mr. Illouz holds a Master degree from the Socio-Economic Research Institute of the University of Besancon (France), a Master degree in Modern Literature and he graduated in Linguistics (University of Besancon). He also holds a degree in Audiovisual Methodology.
