Diane Mombourquette Named VP and CFO of Boutique Hotels

VANCOUVER, BC, Canada, January 6, 2009 - Boutique Hotels & Resorts of British Columbia is pleased to announce the appointment of Diane Mombourquette as vice president and chief financial officer for Boutique Hotels & Resorts of British Columbia. Mombourquette will oversee Boutique Hotels & Resorts' sales and marketing, information technology, finance and employee experience departments.
Bringing with her a solid background in finance and designated chartered accountant, Mombourquette came to Whistler in 1998 where she worked for nine years with Tourism Whistler in various capacities including director of business operations and vice president of finance and operations. During her tenure at Tourism Whistler, Mombourquette honed her skills in financial management and other areas of the business including marketing, sales, operations and business strategy. Her knowledge and direction helped in establishing the success of the world-class resort. Following her departure from Tourism Whistler, Mombourquette took the position of general manager of economic viability for the Resort Municipality of Whistler where she worked closely with resort partners to support the resort's tourism economy. Prior to her most recent appointment, Mombourquette was Boutique Hotels & Resorts' opening general manager for the upcoming Black Rock Oceanfront Resort set to open in Ucluelet on January 16, 2009.
