Banff's Finest Family Accommodation Makes it Easier to Roam
More inclusions mean more freedom and less environmental impact
BANFF NATIONAL PARK, Canada, February 12, 2009 - Banff National Park, Alberta - Registered guests of the Douglas Fir Resort & Chalets can now Roam free during their stay in Banff. The decision to include free, unlimited use of the Town of Banff shuttle bus system was an easy one for General Manager, Andre Fabbri. "Our guests can now leave their vehicle in their designated parking spot at the hotel and let professionals do the driving. We improve the visitor experience by making it easier to tour around Banff and we reduce our hotel's environmental footprint by lowering the number of drivers from our property."
With the addition of unlimited Roam access, guests now have the choice of dining, shopping or sightseeing downtown, without having to worry about finding a parking space. As always, guests can also choose to dine in the privacy of their own condo since every room is fully equipped with a modern kitchen. "Our kitchens help our guests save" says Andre Fabbri.
The Town of Banff is the first municipality in the country to use an all-hybrid electric transit fleet, thanks in part to partners such as Parks Canada.
