Vann Herring Promoted to McKibbon CEO and President

TAMPA, FL, March 5, 2009 - McKibbon Hotel Management, Inc., based in Tampa, Florida, is pleased to announce the promotion of President Vann Herring to Chief Executive Officer and President of the company, effective immediately. In his new role, Vann will continue to oversee day-to-day operations, with the expanded responsibility of guiding long-range planning and strategic direction for the company.

Herring joined the company in 1990 as Director of Operations, and was promoted to President in 1996. His vast range of experience in the hospitality industry includes roles as Director of Operations at Edmundson Hotel Management Company and Senior Vice President for United Inns, Inc. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Vann Herring holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He is a past president of Marriott's TownePlace Suites Franchise Council, and currently serves on Hilton's Homewood Suites Franchise Council.
