Marriott Launches Incentives to Jump Start Your Next Meeting
Available at More Than 1,200 Hotels Worldwide Marriott
BETHESDA, MD, March 10, 2009 - Meetings mean business and are good for the economy. To provide a boost, Marriott is offering the Marriott Meetings Matter Promotion, which includes a variety of unprecedented incentives to book your next group at more than 1,200 of its hotels and resorts across the globe. Now through March 31, 2010, any group booking of 50 paid cumulative room nights or more at participating Marriott, JW Marriott, Renaissance and Courtyard hotels is eligible for:
o One complimentary guest room for every 35 rooms booked
o 25 percent allowable attrition rate
o Double Marriot Rewards(R) points for the Meeting Planner
o Two percent rebate off the master bill for meetings with at least 100 paid cumulative room nights

Meeting Planners, who are Marriott Rewards members and register for this promotion, can receive up to 50,000 bonus points by earning double Marriott Rewards points with Rewarding Events(SM) for meetings held at all Marriott, JW Marriott, Renaissance, Courtyard, Fairfield Inn and SpringHill Suites hotels. Qualifying meetings must have at least 10 rooms for one night or be a catering only event. Meeting Planners can redeem their Marriott Rewards points for over 250 rewards, including $250 or $500 meeting credits certificates, which can be used to offset costs on a future meetings.
