Hospitality Corp Names the Sheraton Harrisburg as Property of the Year

DALLAS, TX, April 10, 2009: The Radisson DFW South was the setting for Hospitality Management Corporation's (HMC) annual General Managers' Conference for their managed properties on March 23-25, 2009. The 3-day event included a golf tournament, and two days of conference sessions.

Conference speakers included John Keeling - PKF; Robin Rodriguez - TravelClick; Gary Cook - ING Financial Advisors; Martha Bader - Buy Efficient; and Jeff Erickson - The Hotel Sales Coach. The theme of the conference was "Weathering the Storm Together," and other presentation topics included Preventing Identity Theft, Revenue Management, Cost Containment, and Setting GM Sales Goals. A Town Hall Meeting gave the attendees the opportunity to ask questions of HMC officers and corporate staff, and discuss pertinent issues.

Awards were presented to HMC's outstanding properties for 2008 at a gala banquet and awards ceremony on the last evening of the conference:

***| The award for HMC's Full-Service Property of the Year was won by the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey in Harrisburg, PA, and was accepted by Tom Dickert, the hotel's general manager and the Regional Director of Operations, and Keith Komon, the hotel's assistant general manager,

***| The Select-Service Property of the Year award was presented to the LaQuinta Inn & Suites North in Lubbock, TX, and accepted by Nathan Little, the general manager.

***| Additional awards for 2008 were presented to the Hilton Garden Inn Tulsa Airport, the Days Inn DFW North, and the Radisson Penn Harris.
