Courtyard Names Pam Patoine "GM of the Year"
Courtyard Concord Manager Recognized as Top Performer
WATERFORD, CT, April 14, 2009 - Waterford Hotel Group recently named Pam Patoine as its 2008 General Manager of the Year during the company's Annual Business Meeting & Awards Celebration at the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa in Groton, CT. Patoine serves as general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott and Grappone Conference Center in Concord, NH. Waterford Hotel Group, a national hotel management firm, professionally operates both the 90-room Courtyard and adjacent conference center.
Managers from the 25 properties in the Waterford Hotel Group, Inc. portfolio attended the company's 2009 Business Meeting & Awards Luncheon. The meeting provided Waterford leadership an opportunity to meet with their managers and discuss, as a group, new strategies and business initiatives for 2009, including operations, sales, and e-commerce. The business meeting also gave the attendees a chance to share ideas and set goals for the upcoming years.

Patoine has been with the Concord property since 2000, and served as part of the hotel's opening team. In 2008, she proved to be an effective, proactive leader who was able to maximize profits throughout the year in an unstable economy. Patoine also led her team in achieving excellence in both Marriott Guest Satisfaction Scores and Quality Assurance. "Waterford is lucky to have a manager like Pam," commented Judy Moran, vice president of human resources for Waterford Hotel Group.

Patoine currently serves on committees for many local organizations, including Dress for Success New Hampshire, the Lakes Region Association, the Chamber of Commerce - Funds for Education Golf Tournament, and the Heart of the Grape Wine Event for Concord Hospital. She currently resides in Concord.
