Chicago, IL (November 2005) - Pheasant Run Resort & Spa (4051 E. Main Street, St Charles, 800-474-3272) celebrates the holiday season with festivities and getaways for the entire family with a wide array of New Year's Eve packages.

Brunch with Santa

Sundays in December are special at Pheasant Run Resort as children enjoy the annual Sunday Brunch with Santa, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., December 4, 11 and 18. A miniature children's buffet features tables set at just the right height so little ones can serve themselves and each child receives a keepsake photo with Santa Claus. The rest of the family will enjoy a variety of culinary delights including rotisserie Christmas goose, baked bone-in ham with Jack Daniels raisin sauce, citrus crusted salmon, stuffed chicken breast with sun dried cherries and roasted mushrooms, traditional entrees, side dishes and signature brunch specialties and homemade desserts. Holiday Workshop Package

Pheasant Run presents holiday fun for the entire family with a special Holiday Workshop package December 16-18. Guests will enjoy sleigh rides and a blazing bonfire with a singing cowboy. Children can even make gingerbread houses and holiday wreaths and chocolate lovers won't want to miss the delicious cookies and hot cocoa. The Holiday Workshop package starts from $114 per family (2 adults and 2 children) and includes overnight accommodations, gingerbread and holiday wreath tickets, participation in bonfire activities PLUS a $25 voucher for breakfast in the Terrace Caf'e. Families can also build a cuddly friend in the "Stuff-n-Fluff" Animal Workshop provided by Noah's Ark at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. Custom cuddly friends are priced between $14.50 and $31.

Ring in the New Year with a variety of entertainment packages

Pheasant Run Resort is the place to ring in the New Year with packages offering everything from dining and dancing to theater and comedy. Entertainment includes the hysterical holiday hit Roasting Chestnuts: A Christmas Carol Gina! in the theater, popular comedian Randy Kagan in Zanies Comedy Club and The Pete Fleming Orchestra in the St. Charles Ballroom.

Guests will enjoy entertaining options throughout the entire resort. A champagne station will welcome guests as they enter the lobby. In Lilly's Lounge, Wind Gypsys, a 4-piece band, will play rock tunes. The Garden Atrium will feature a live D.J. spinning high energy dance music. Last but not least, the New Year will kick off at midnight with a colorful balloon drop and champagne toast.

A Decadent Celebration - from $349 per couple

Celebrate the New Year throughout the resort. This festive package includes an open bar, champagne toast, party favors, balloon drop, midnight snack buffet, overnight accommodations for two and New Year's Day Brunch.

St. Charles Elegance - from $449 per couple

This popular option includes everything in the Decadent Celebration package PLUS a sumptuous five-course meal in the St. Charles Ballroom with entertainment by the Pete Fleming Orchestra.

A Theatrical New Year's Eve - from $529 per couple

Gina Oswald returns as a comic diva in her new Las Vegas showcase. The Zeitgeist Zingers back her up in this holiday sequel, Roasting Chestnuts: A Christmas Carol Gina! The Chicago Tribune raves Roasting Chestnuts is "A hip way to celebrate the holidays!" This entertaining option includes two theater tickets to this annual holiday hit from Noble Fool Theatricals, PLUS everything in the St. Charles Elegance package.

A Zany New Year's Eve - from $529 per couple

Known for his man-on-the-street segments, Randy Kagan will entertain you with his intelligent and off the cuff humor. Guests will receive two tickets to see the popular comedian who has made appearances on MTV, VH1, and E! PLUS enjoy everything in the St. Charles Elegance package.

New Year's Eve Kids Klub Party

This New Year's Eve parents can relax and enjoy their evening knowing their children are safe and having fun in our supervised Kids Klub. The children will have their own special "Glow in the Dark Party" from 6:00 p.m. to 1 a.m., with a special kid's dinner menu including hot dogs, tater tots, and chicken fingers served at 6:30 p.m. Party hats, noisemakers, balloon drop, sparkling apple cider, board games, crafts, video games, and movies will make this a truly special New Year's Eve celebration for the kids.

New Year's Eve Kids Klub Party is only available to children of overnight package guests. Kids Klub is open to children between the ages of 3 to 11 (children must be toilet trained) - space is limited.
