Evason Hua Hin Resort & Spa Receives Conde Nast Traveler's Travel Awards 2005
BANGKOK, November 23, 2005. Evason Hua Hin Resort & Six Senses Spa has been included in the Conde Nast Traveler's "World's Top 100 places to spend your special vacation". The resort also received the Conde Nast Readers' Travel Award 2005, as one of the exclusive hotels that provide the best service.
Evason Hua Hin Resort, managed by Six Senses Resorts & Spas, opened in 2002 and is positioned as one of the very top resorts in Asia. It is located at Pranburi, approximately 30 kilometers south of Hua Hin town and 230 kilometers from Bangkok - amongst 20 acres of beautifully landscaped tropical gardens filled with lotus ponds and waterways, and facing the Gulf of Siam.
Traveling time by car from Hua Hin town or airport to the resort is 30 minutes, and from Bangkok, approximately three hours. A scheduled Bangkok-Hua Hin shuttle flight operated by SGA, takes approximately 40 minutes between airports.
The 185 luxurious guestrooms are distributed within eight separate low-rise buildings in a tropical garden setting, including 40 stand-alone private pool villas.
All rooms have either over-sized King or Twin beds with light comfortable duvets, most with an open-style bathroom and all with private balconies. All rooms have a large day bed designed as a sitting area that can be easily made up as a third bed at night.
Other facilities include three excellent restaurants, a professionally managed kids club - Just Kids!, and of course the signature Six Senses Spa, offering a wide range of holistic treatments by experienced international and Thai therapists.
