K.B. Kachru of Carlson Hotels Asia-Pacific Honored with 2005 Global Tourism Award in London
LONDON, December 2, 2005. K.B. Kachru, executive vice president-south Asia, for Carlson Hotels received the 2005 Global Tourism Award during a recent ceremony in London sponsored by the British Travel Trade Fair and Trav Talk, a leading travel trade publication.
Kachru, who has led the development of Carlson brands in India for the past 15 years, was cited for marketing excellence and building the portfolio of Carlson brands including Regent International Hotels, Radisson Hotels & Resorts and Country Inns & Suites By Carlson, in South Asia. The award ceremony was held at the World Travel Mart (WTM) in London and inaugurated by the Minister of Tourism for the United Kingdom and attended by Tourism Ministers from over 50 countries.
