Harmon, Inc. Adds Michael Rollock as Senior Project Manager in Boynton Beach, Florida
BOYNTON, BEACH, FL,December 9, 2005. Specialty contractor Harmon, Inc.'s contractor's office in Boynton Beach, Fla., has added Michael Rollock as a senior project manager serving general contractors, architects and building owners throughout southern Florida. In conjunction with Harmon's Orlando and Tampa locations, the company provides new construction, repair and replacement, and renovation for the entire state's commercial glazing needs.
For the past 15 years, Rollock has served in various leadership roles including senior management, sales, estimating, scheduling, installation and project management. Well versed in hurricane impact code and protective glazing systems, he has been involved with hundreds of building enclosure systems. Currently, he is applying his knowledge to such projects as the new Collier Regional Medical Center in Naples and an expansion the Miami Children's Hospital.
Rollock also is managing Harmon's glazing team on The Regent South Beach Hotel, a new five-star, 80-suite hotel featuring 27 exquisite penthouses with ocean views from secluded rooftop gardens. Expected to open in early 2006, The Regent will be first building to rise on Miami Beach's Ocean Drive in more than 10 years.
During his career, Rollock has contributed to other such notable projects as the Swiss Re America headquarters in Armonk, N.Y.; Brunswick School in Greenwich, Conn.; Arthur Ashe Tennis Stadium in Flushing, N.Y.; and St. John's University, N.Y. He started out as a draftsman producing architectural drawings for small retail and residential projects in New York and before long, was designing custom curtainwall systems for large commercial facilities. Recently, he worked as project executive for Suntech of Connecticut, Inc., and previously, as vice president for City Glass and Mirror in St. Petersburg, Fla.
