Sage Taps Four Execs for New Positions
DENVER, CO, January 03, 2006. Sage Hospitality Resources has appointed a team of hotel industry veterans to four newly created senior management positions. They include Robin Kirk, who was named regional vp of operations; Brad McCreedy, vp of sales; Will Loughran, vp of revenue; and Peter Karpinski, senior vp for Sage's new restaurant division.
The new positions are designed to support and enhance Sage's "multi-pronged, national growth strategy in managing and developing premium-brand hotels," according to Walter Isenberg, CEO of Sage, a Denver-based hospitality company specializing in managing and renovating full-service and luxury hotels.
Kirk will be responsible for the operation of Sage hotel properties in the Northeast and Midwest markets. Formerly, Kirk was president of CSM Lodging in Minneapolis.
McCreedy will oversee sales initiatives for all Sage hotel properties. Prior to joining Sage, McCreedy held a variety of senior marketing and sales positions with Marriott International.
In his new role as vp of revenue, Loughran will oversee the revenue strategy for Sage's portfolio of hotels. Previously, Loughran was director of sales and marketing for the Denver Marriott Tech Center.
Karpinski will be responsible for concept development and design as well as on-going operations for new and existing restaurants in Sage hotels. Karpinski was formerly with the Starr Restaurant Organization.
Sage's portfolio includes 47 properties located in cities throughout the country. Currently, Sage's development arm has six hotel projects under construction. Among them are four urban initiatives, including the restoration of historic landmark properties into luxury hotels in Providence, RI; Chicago; and Portland, OR; as well as a $44-million Residence Inn by Marriott project in downtown Denver. Sage Hospitality's management group will operate all of the hotels.
