Greydanus to Head Waldorf Brand
BEVERLY HILLS, CA, February 14, 2006. - J. David Greydanus has been named senior vp of brand management for Hilton Hotels Corp.'s recently unveiled Waldorf=Astoria Collection. Greydanus most recently served as senior vp of brand management for Embassy Suites Hotels. He will continue to report to Tom Keltner, president of Hilton's brand performance and development group.
In his new position, Greydanus will be responsible for the product definition, marketing and unit development of the Waldorf=Astoria Collection around the world. As such, the company anticipates that its new Waldorf-Astoria Collection will grow through the cobranding of existing luxury landmark or boutique hotels that will add the Waldorf=Astoria Collection title to their name. The brand will also grow through the designation of existing high-end Hilton or Conrad hotels as Waldorf=Astoria Collection properties and the opening of new-build hotel/residential developments in gateway cities.
