OAKLAND, CA, February 23, 2006. The Oakland Convention & Visitors Bureau announced the publication of Destination Oakland -- 2006 Visitors Guide. Destination Oakland is updated annually as a free guide on where to stay, dine, shop, meet, and play in Oakland for locals, visitors, and event and meeting planners. This valuable resource is distributed nationally and locally in Oakland hotels, restaurants, cafes, visitor centers, Oakland International Airport, libraries, and chambers of commerce.
