Christopher Lee Owens New F&B Director at Pink Shell

ESTERO ISLAND, FL, February 28, 2006. The Pink Shell Beach Resort & Spa in Ft Myers Beach, Florida, has announced the appointment of Christopher Lee Owens as Food & Beverage Director. Mr. Owens will be responsible for overseeing Pink Shell's two restaurants, as well as catering, meetings, and special event services.

Mr. Owens brings 25 years of experience in the restaurant and hotel industry, including Director of Restaurants at the Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa where he was responsible for managing the resort's six different restaurants; General Manager of The Timbers Restaurant and Fish Market, and Augie's Front Burner restaurant, where Mr. Owens was in charge of all aspects of the operation, including organizing wine dinners in conjunction with the Sarasota Wine Festival.

Mr. Owens joins Pink Shell Beach Resort & Spa as it continues its multi-phase, multi-million dollar transformation. The resort's next phase is the construction of Captiva Villas, slated to open in late 2006 with villa-style gulf-front accommodations featuring the finest design amenities and breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico.
