Benchmark Announces Recipients of 2006 Top Sales Executives Awards
HOUSTON, TX, March 21, 2006. Jack Schmidt, chief marketing officer for Benchmark Hospitality International, has announced the recipients of the company's annual Top Sales Executives Awards. Presented at Benchmark's Annual Sales Training Conference, which was held recently at Eaglewood Resort & Spa of Itasca (Chicago), Illinois, award winners were selected from among more than 125 sales and marketing professionals system-wide. Recognition was awarded based on exemplary sales performance, team participation, and strong leadership exhibited throughout the year.

Recipients of Benchmark Hospitality's 2006 Top Sales Executive Awards were as follows:
The top award, Sales Executive of the Year, was presented to Karen Perryman, sales executive at Lansdowne Resort, Leesburg, Virginia.
The Director of Sales & Marketing of the Year Award went to Brett Boreing of Virginia Crossings Resort, Richmond, Virginia
The Sales Leader of the Year Award was presented to Paul Bashaw, director of sales for Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center, Scottsdale, Arizona.
Other Sales Executive Awards and recipients included the Complete Meeting Package Sales Award, received by Lisa Patten of Virginia Crossings Resort; the Rookie of the Year Award, which went to Renee Novello, Eaglewood Resort & Spa; and the Benchmark Bulldog Award, presented to Lee Reijgers of Cheyenne Mountain Resort, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Benchmark's Award of Excellence went to six sales executives, including Christi Hall of The Chattanoogan, Chattanooga, Tennessee; Dennis Mezik, Eaglewood Resort & Spa; Sharon Siedler, Cheyenne Mountain Resort; David Sneider, Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center; Stu Woods, Cheyenne Mountain Resort; and Cheryl Gilbertson of The Northland Inn, located near Minneapolis, Minnesota.
