The Leading Hotels of the World Ltd., Launches Golf Program
MARCH 31, 2006. With hotels and resorts that are home to internationally renowned golf courses, The Leading Hotels of the World, Ltd. has inaugurated Leading Golf, a collection of value-added offerings at select participating golf hotels.
Launched at twelve properties in Europe, North America, and the Caribbean, the program will later be open to all members of The Leading Hotels of the World with golf facilities.
The first hotels in the program are:

One&Only Palmilla, Los Cabos, Mexico
The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
The Lodge at Torrey Pines, La Jolla, California, USA
Sonnenalp Resort of Vail, Vail, Colorado, USA
The Biltmore Hotel, Coral Gables, Florida, USA
One&Only Ocean Club, Paradise Island, The Bahamas
There are six different offers available:
o Leading Family Golf, designed to provide children with complimentary instruction and/or play (Code LHWFGF)
o Leading Gents Golf (Code LHWGNT)
o Leading Ladies Golf (Code LHWLGG)
o Leading Unlimited Golf, offering unlimited play (Code LHWUNL)
o Leading Golf Fore Play, incorporating romantic elements for couples (Code LHWG42)
o Leading Golf and Gourmet, including culinary components (LHWGOR)
In order to participate in the program, hotels must offer a minimum of three of the options mentioned above.
Components vary from hotel to hotel, but following are examples of three different packages.
At The Gleneagles Hotel, the Leading Family Golf package, available from May 1 to October 31, 2006, includes:
o Accommodations for 2 adults with up to 2 children sharing
o Full Scottish breakfast
o One free round of golf per adult
o One free round of golf per child
o Shared golf lesson for up to 2 children
o Rates start at GBP 715 per room, per night
At Adare Manor, the Leading Golf and Gourmet package, available from April 15 to October 14, 2006, is based on a two-night stay and includes:
o Daily breakfast
o Table d'hote dinner one evening
o One round of golf per person
o Access to the driving range
Rates start at EUR 575 per room, per night, single or double occupancy.
At One&Only Palmilla, Leading Unlimited Golf, based on a three-night stay until December 18, 2006, includes:
o Breakfast daily
o Dinner each evening
o Three days of unlimited golf
o Souvenir T-shirts and caps
Rates start at USD 843.33 per room, per night, single or double occupancy.
