InterContinental Hotels Group Strengthens Regional Sales Team with New Appointments
SINGAPORE, July 6, 2005. InterContinental Hotels Group today announces two latest additions to the regional sales team. Based in Shanghai, Carrie Chen, Sales Manager, Travel Industry & MICE, and Connie Wang, Sales Manager, Corporate & Government, will boost the regional sales team with specialist experience and tap the vast potential of China's exponential travel growth.

Carrie Chen, Sales Manager, Travel Industry & MICE: With over 12 years of experience and an extensive network of contacts in the travel industry in China, Carrie will be one of the key proponents in supporting the Group's development strategies in tapping China tourism.
Connie Wang, Sales Manager, Corporate & Government: With her experience in cultivating relationships with high end business and leisure customers, Connie will be working closely with the Group's Hong Kong corporate sales team and key account directors worldwide to manage a portfolio of global corporate accounts. She will also focus on developing homegrown corporate and government accounts within China to capture opportunities for the Group's hotels around the world.
