John Howard Named Director of Food and Beverage at Renaissance Orlando Resort at Seaworld
ORLANDO, FL, July 11, 2005. John Howard, a 17-year Marriott International, Inc., industry veteran, has been named director of food and beverage at the Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld.
Howard is responsible for the overall performance of food and beverage operations throughout the resort.
A native of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Howard began his career in March of 1987 at Marriott's Orlando World Center, in Orlando, Florida. Howard has since held various positions within the food and beverage discipline in several cities across the United States including Chicago, Illinois, Charleston, South Carolina, Nashville, Tennessee, San Francisco, California and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Howard has experience as banquet maitre'd, room service manager, restaurant manager, director of restaurants and director of food & beverage. Most recently, Howard managed food & beverage operations at the J.W. Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona.
Howard is a graduate of Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, and lives in Orlando, Florida. He is single and enjoys a variety of sports, especially golf.
