Pezula in "The World's 100 Best Places to Stay in 2006"
Kune 8, 2006. Robb Report has included Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa among "The World's 100 Best Places to Stay in 2006" in the premiere issue of Robb Report Luxury Resorts magazine. The hotel was also named "Haute of Africa."
With a monthly circulation of 104,000, Robb Report is read by the richest and most influential people in America. It is an up-market lifestyle magazine covering the luxury market and includes content on exotic automobiles, boats, aircraft, travel, technology, fashion, sports, investments, real estate and other lifestyle topics for the affluent market.
Travel writer Bill Whitman visited Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa in November last year and his article on the resort appears in Robb Report Luxury Resorts. He describes the hotel as: "a slick retreat marked by contemporary design and amenities.... and high-style comfort."
Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa is one of only four destinations in Southern Africa to be included in the list; the others being Singita Ebony, Royal Malewane and Mombo.
Keith Stewart, Chairman of the Pezula Group which owns the hotel, said that being recognised among such an exclusive group of exceptional resorts is a remarkable achievement.
"We are being recognised internationally as a premier luxury brand," said Stewart, "and this is enormously gratifying. Our aim has always been to raise the bar and it is paying off."
The Pezula Group is South Africa's leading developer of luxury property and recently won five of the top awards at the prestigious Homes Overseas Awards 2006, including the award of the evening for Best Developer of the Year, two other Gold awards for Best Luxury Development and Best South African Development and two Silver awards for the world's Best Golf Development and Best Sustainable Development.
