Marc Greenberg and Awa Njie Selected as General Manager and Service Representative of the Year

ATLANTA, GA, July 16, 2009 - McKibbon Hotel Management, Inc. of Tampa, Florida is pleased to announce that two employees of the Hawthorn Suites Atlanta Northwest have been honored nationally by the Hawthorn Suites hotel brand.

General Manager Marc Greenberg was named General Manager of the Year, and complimentary service associate Awa Njie was named Count on Me! Service Representative of the Year at the recent Hawthorn Suites conference, held in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

Marc Greenberg began his career with McKibbon in 1994 as General Manager of the Hawthorn Suites Atlanta Northwest. In his role there, he continually demonstrates strong leadership and creativity, in spite of today's challenging economic environment. Among his recent accomplishments, Marc recently signed a new client for the hotel, bringing in more than $1 million in room sales last year.

In addition to his role as general manager, Greenberg is also very active in the community, acting as an advocate for Children's Miracle Network and serving on the board of directors of the Cobb County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Awa Njie has worked at Hawthorn Suites Atlanta Northwest since 2003 as a complimentary service associate. A true "shining star" of the property, she has worked in several areas of the hotel, helping out as needed, and can frequently be counted on to take on additional hours or responsibilities at a moment's notice. Her enthusiasm and joy for serving her guests bring many repeat visitors back to the hotel.

"Awa is one of those individuals who make a guest's visit to a property special," explained General Manager Marc Greenberg. "Her sense of caring is truly genuine, and we've had many guests tell us that she is the reason that they come back to our hotel for future visits."
