Chuck Sullivan Joins Hilton as SVP Global Online Services

MCLEAN, VA, August 4, 2009 - Hilton Hotels Corporation (Hilton) today announced that Chuck Sullivan has been named to the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Global Online Services. Sullivan will report to Paul Brown, Hilton President, Global Brands and Commercial Services.

Sullivan will spearhead the new Global Online Services division at Hilton which has been formed to fully leverage the internet as a marketing, transaction and relationship building medium. Sullivan, and his team, will have responsibility for the design, development and content management of the company's branded and hotel direct websites as well as for the online and search marketing activities for the company globally.

Sullivan joins Hilton from Chrysler Group LLC., where he was Head of Marketing - Delivery, and previously served as Director of Interactive. While at Chrysler Group, Sullivan was responsible for leading the global online strategy. Under his leadership, Chrysler re-architected the brand websites, established new customizable websites for franchise owners, built a comprehensive lead management program and awarded the first enterprise-wide online advertising agency of record. Sullivan was also responsible for all traditional media planning and buying, and campaign measurement.

Prior to Chrysler, Sullivan was Executive Director of Engagement Management at Organic, Inc., a leading digital marketing services company and a division of Omnicom Group, Inc. Before Organic, Sullivan held management positions with Ford Motor Company as Director of Global Market Research, Andersen Consulting Strategic Services and Caterpillar Overseas S.A.

Sullivan holds an MBA in marketing and finance from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and a BA in marketing from Michigan State University. A respected leader in the marketing and advertising industry, Sullivan is a member of the AdCraft Club and has previously served on the Board of Advisors of the Marketing Sciences Institute (MSI). MSI is a nonprofit institution that brings together corporate executives and leading universities worldwide to provide academic research and practical application of leading-edge marketing knowledge.
