The Palms at Town & Country Announces New Retailers at Miami's Oldest Open-air Life Style Center
MIAMI, FL, December 5, 2009 - As one of only two new developments under construction in all of Dade County, Phase 1 of The Palms at Town & Country's redevelopment lifestyle center is referred to as the new “downtown Kendall.” Construction on this new 400,000 sq. ft. lifestyle center is on schedule to be completed by early 2010. The Mediterranean themed, pedestrian-friendly, open-air lifestyle center also features a Professional/Medical Arts Center, a boutique hotel and condominium office towers. The 75-acre site is ideally located at the junction of the Florida Turnpike and Kendall Drive.
Nationally recognized retailers Nordstrom Rack and Loehmann's will open in March 2010. Blue Martini, one of nation's hottest nightclubs, will open in Summer 2012. Blue Martini is the first of several restaurants that are part of Phase 1. These retailers will join the already open 88,783 sq. ft. Kohl's, which is the second highest performing Kohl's that opened across the nation in 2009. This center brings the local flavor of Miami along with an unmatched depth of retail options to Southern Florida. The retailer line-up when complete will include fashion apparel, entertainment, white tablecloth dining, home accessories and specialty retail.
