Benchmark Appoints Robert Boyle VP and GM
Turtle Bay Resort, Oahu, Hawaii
HOUSTON, TX, January 8, 2007. Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Robert Boyle as vice president and general manager for Turtle Bay Resort, Benchmark's offshore flagship property located on Oahu's famed North Shore. Sam Haigh, president and chief operating officer, made the announcement.

Under Mr. Boyle's leadership as managing director of Turtle Bay Resort - the position he held just prior to his promotion, the property garnered numerous accolades, including, Travel & Leisure Golf magazine's "#1 Most Underrated Golf Resort in Hawaii", Meetings & Conventions Gold Key Award, Smart Meetings Readers Choice Platinum Award, Incentive magazine's Platinum Partner Award, Corporate & Incentive Travel's Award of Excellence, Resorts & Great Hotels Connoisseur's Choice, and the Honolulu Advertiser's "Best of the Best for Weddings" and "Best New Restaurant of the Year" award. Boyle's first position with the property was as resort manager.
Upon joining Benchmark at Turtle Bay, Bob Boyle integrated two decades of wide-reaching resort operations experience into the management of the signature property. He was previously president of Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa, located in Whitefield, New Hampshire. Boyle also served in executive positions for The Camberley Hotel of Louisville, Kentucky, and Topnotch at Stowe Resort and Spa of Stowe, Vermont. Additionally, he was the general manager for the Doral Telluride Resort and Spa of Telluride, Colorado. Mr. Boyle attended LaSalle University, located in Philadelphia.
