January 11, 2010 - The luxurious JW Marriott Ihilani Resortand Spa at Ko Olina has significantly enhanced Oahu's banquet and meetings infrastructure withthe unveiling of the highly anticipated Hokulani Ballroom.Formerly known as the Pavilion at Ihilani, the renamedHokulani Ballroom has been expanded tobetter serve meetings and banquet events.Enhancements include a stylish modular design,including exterior windows, retractable walls, newinteriors and furniture, climate control and broadbandwireless capability. The retractable windows allowthe ballroom to open into the beautiful outdoorsetting.
Measuring 15,600-square-feet, the expanded ballroom can also be divided into up to fiveseparate breakout spaces, offering versatility for special events. It can comfortably accommodateup to 1,100 guests for banquets and 2,000 guests for theater-style presentations. The newstructure supports a wireless infrastructure with a capacity providing 1,000 individuals usinginternet access.
