The Hotel at Auburn University Welcomes New Sales Manager

The Hotel at Auburn University is pleased to announce the appointment of Pat Miller as Sales Manager. Ms. Miller will be opening the Birmingham, AL satellite sales office where she will work to secure corporate group business in the drive-time markets of Birmingham, Atlanta, Columbus and Montgomery.

“We are very pleased to welcome Pat Miller to our team,” said Hans van der Reijden, Managing Director of The Hotel at Auburn University. “Her experience working at upscale properties, including our sister hotel The Partridge Inn in Augusta, GA, ensures that she will bring a wealth of knowledge, exceptional customer service, and Southern hospitality that our guests and group clientele are accustomed to receiving.”

Prior to arriving at The Hotel at Auburn University, Miller was the Director of Sales at The Partridge Inn in Augusta, GA. There she managed and organized groups who were arranging meetings, corporate events, weddings, and other special events at this historic hotel. She was also responsible for organizing and executing The Masters events that took place at the hotel during the famous golf tournament.

Miller knows firsthand the value in creating and maintaining lasting relationships with co-workers and guests. Her notable past at The Ritz-Carlton hotels in St.Thomas, Phoenix, Key Biscayne and many other prominent properties has given her experience in special events, meetings, sales, marketing and management. She excels in maintaining the highest standards of customer serviceand has proven resourcefulness at creating special events and tailoring meetings to each client's unique situation and goals.
