The DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown Appoints Julie Curi as Conference Service Planner

New position helps take the headache out of meeting planning

The DoubleTree Tarrytown is proud to announce the appointment of Julie Curi as its Conference Service Planner.

The new position was created for the convenience of meeting planners who can now rely on a dedicated staff member to oversee all the details that ensure a successful event.

Prior to her appointment as Conference Service Planner, Curi served as Director of Catering at the DoubleTree, Tarrytown. Since joining the DoubleTree team in 2007, she has been instrumental in planning a number of key events including annual gala events for Arts Westchester and Abbott House, The Westchester County Association's Annual Spring Dinner, The United Way's Leadership Conference and Special Kids of Westchester's Annual fundraiser. “It's a beautiful hotel: The ambiance, the food, the meeting space,'' said Ms. Curi. “With a fabulous facility like this, it makes my job so much easier.''

Ms. Curi has worked in the hospitality industry since 1994, working with market segments ranging from small to mid-sized businesses and associations to Fortune 1000 companies. Before joining The DoubleTree Tarrytown, she worked as Hospitality Manager for Phelps Memorial Hospital. She also held key positions at Abigail Kirsch at Tappan Hill; Intercontinental Hotels Group, Hilton Hotels, Crowne Plaza at United Nations, The Tarrytown Hilton and Rye Town Hilton as well as Doral Arrowwood Conference Center and the IBM Learning Center.
