Holiday Inn Mumbai Appoints Yazad Marfatia as DSM
Stephen DSouza Named Food & Beverage Manager & Antony Page as Exec Chef
Mumbai, India - May 03, 2010 - Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport, India's first new-look Holiday Inn to open in Mumbai in April 2010, has announced a series of key appointments. Yazad Marfatia has been appointed as the Director Sales and Marketing, Stephen DSouza as the Food & Beverage Manager and Antony Page as the Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport's Executive Chef. These additions to the leadership team will support continued growth and success of the Holiday Inn in Mumbai brand, which promises to be a great product designed for business oriented leisure travelers IHG globally.

A seasoned professional in the industry, Yazad has over 14 years of experience spanning across six international hotel brands. Prior to joining Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport, Yazad held the position of Regional Director of Sales with Hyatt India Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. He was instrumental in overseeing and driving the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies to support the company's growth.
As the Director Sales and Marketing, Yazad will be responsible in overseeing and directing all aspects of the Sales and Marketing activities of the Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport. He will play a key role in the planning and development of promotional strategies, managing the sales and marketing team, implementing revenue generating measures and driving hotel performance.
Stephen, as the Food & Beverage Manager at the Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport, will be instrumental in driving the strategy and innovations for the Holiday Inn Mumbai's Food & Beverage outlets including Saptami, '72', Saptami Express and the specialty restaurant. He has been in the industry for over 11 years and has worked with both local and international brands, consistently raising the bar in the industry and winning many accolades and recognitions to his credit. Prior to this, Stephen was the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at the Marriott International.
Antony joins Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport as the Executive Chef and brings over 12 years of experience with several and leading hotel groups. Most recently, Antony worked with Crowne Plaza Christchurch, New Zealand and recently relocated to Mumbai. Anthony's acquired extensive knowledge and skills to competently lead the Food and Beverage operations.
