August 5, 2010 - Robert Herr, General Manager of InterContinental Prague, Czech Republic, is leaving the Hotel by the end of August 2010. Robert Herr was holding the position since October 2006.

As of 1 September 2010, Robert Herr will be taking over as the General Manager of the InterContinental Berlin. Robert Herr, 39, began his career at the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) at the InterContinental Miami 17 years ago. After serving in posts as the Reservations Manager at the InterContinental Paris, Front Office Manager in Leipzig and at the Barclay InterContinental New York, he worked as the Resident Manager at the InterContinental Vienna and InterContinentalm Prague, the General Manager of the Crowne Plaza Hamburg. More recently, he worked as the General Manager of the InterContinental Düsseldorf, which he successfully opened, and in the same position in Prague, where he was bestowed the honour of "Hotelier of the Year" for the Czech Republic in 2007.

The succession of Robert P. Herr as General Manager of the InterContinental Prague will be subject of a further announcement.
