Bill Quiseng Named GM of The Henry in Dearborn, MI
DEARBORN, MI - October 14, 2010 - Bill Quiseng, former general manager of The Inn at Bay Harbor - A Renaissance Golf Resort in Bay Harbor, Mich., has joined Dearborn's The Henry as general manager. The announcement was made by Thomas Conran, principal of Greenwood Hospitality, the hotel's management company, which led the acquisition of the property on behalf of an investor group.
Quiseng has more than 30 years experience in the hospitality industry and is charged with overseeing the hotel's transformation from a traditional Ritz-Carlton Hotel to a stylized, contemporary independent property as an Autograph Collection hotel.
“Beyond Bill's 30 years of hospitality leadership experience nationally, his reputation as a customer service expert and motivational speaker ensures that while the decor and ambiance of The Henry may be new, the level of service will remain the standard by which all other hotels are judged,” commented Conran.
During his administration, The Inn at Bay Harbor was recognized as one of the Top 500 World's Best Hotels by Travel+Leisure Magazine. In 2010, The Inn was recognized by Golf Magazine as the first and only Gold Medal Award premier resort in Michigan. Quiseng is a sought-after speaker statewide on matters of motivation and customer service.
The renovation of the former Ritz-Carlton Hotel is ambitious and far ranging. A bright new color palette and rotating series of contemporary artwork selections are representative of a larger rebranding initiative.
