Residence Inn by Marriott in Southington, CT Completes Major Renovation
Southington, CT - March 21, 2011 - The Residence Inn by Marriott in Southington, Connecticut recently completed an extensive hotel renovation in order to upgrade and refresh specific components of the hotel. Renovations include a major overhaul to the guestrooms, dining area and meeting space, as well as upgrades to the hotel's lobby. The 94-room Residence Inn by Marriott Southington is professionally managed by Waterford Hotel Group, a national hotel management firm currently operating 27 properties in nine states.
The Residence Inn Southington, which opened in 2002 and features spacious suites with full kitchens, flat screen televisions, and separate living and sleeping areas, began their extensive renovations in November 2010. Every guestroom in the hotel received a new mattress and box spring, new granite countertops, as well as new furniture, curtains and artwork.
The hotel's lobby space was upgraded with new flooring and carpet, new furniture and new granite countertops at the front desk. The meeting and fitness room areas were also updated with new carpet and vinyl.
