GBG and Associates Welcomes New Public Relations Coordinator
SAN DIEGO, CA - March 23, 2011 - GBG & Associates is proud to announce Jennifer Colonna as the new Public Relations Coordinator. Colonna will be responsible for research on the objectives, promotional policies, and the needs of each client. She will also oversee and create monthly reports that will keep each client up to date on their public relations campaigns.
She joins GBG & Associates from the San Diego North Chamber of Commerce. The SDNCC is a non-profit organization focusing on creating stronger commerce through out the San Diego area. It was there, that Colonna served as the Communications and Events Coordinator, reaching over 100,000 employees, which the chamber served.
“I am thrilled and excited to be part of Georgi's team. I have a strong passion for Public Relations and the Hospitality Industry. I know my skills will be well suited for the consortium of porfessionals here at GBG,” said Colonna.
In addition to Public Relations, Colonna's background includes Community Relations for the Oakland Raiders and extensive work with non-profit organizations. During her time with the Oakland Raiders, Colonna started and managed the Raiders Wives Organization (RWO) to help the wives of each athlete and coach give back to the community. Colonna also holds a bachelors degree in Public Relations from San Jose State University in San Jose, California.
