Hotel Equities Celebrates Renovation of Fairfield Marriott

JANUARY 29, 2007. Hotel Equities (HE) celebrated a Grand Reopening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott-Perimeter Center following an extensive renovation of both guest rooms and public spaces. Operated by Atlanta-based Hotel Equities, the five-story, 114-room hotel is located at 1145 Hammond Drive in the Perimeter Center area of Atlanta. The hotel's experienced professional staff includes Sal Capriola as General Manager, David Kamou as Operations Manager, and Susan Holbrook as Director of Sales.

"Our guests deserve the best," said Fred Cerrone, President and CEO of HE. "We've added upscale bedding along with new furnishings, carpeting, wall coverings and window treatments to exceed our guests' expectations. Since it opened in the fall of 1997, the Fairfield Inn has remained a market leader in its field. The hotel expanded some conventional rooms to suites when it converted to the Fairfield Inn & Suites brand in 2002. The recent renovation reflects a response to market demand and the commitment of owners and management to continue its appeal to guests.

"Expanded amenities include the new Marriott bedding package and the new 'Early Eats' complimentary hot breakfast program," said General Manager Sal Capriola. "We have also updated our business center that includes a computer with free Internet access and our fitness center with its treadmill, stationary bike and free weights."

The hotel also features an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool spa, facsimile and copy service, plus a microwave and refrigerator in each guest room. A complimentary continental breakfast is available each morning in the breakfast room off the lobby. The public areas feature living-room ambiance complete with comfortable chairs, a dual-sided fireplace and fresh-baked cookies daily.

Weekday room rates start at $129. Fairfield Inn & Suites participates in Marriott Rewards, which enables members to earn and redeem points for free stays at over 1,600 Marriott lodging properties.

The Fairfield Inn brand was launched in 1987, and is a leader in the select-service lodging segment. There are currently over 535 Fairfield Inn hotels located throughout the United States.
