Sage Hospitality Appoints New CFO
July 13, 2011 - Sage Hospitality of Denver, Colorado has appointed Harris White to the position of Chief Financial Officer. The appointment marks a return engagement for White, who served for six years as CFO of Sage Hospitality in the late '90s and early '00s.
He will lead all capital, financial, asset management and legal activities for both the real estate and management companies, which have invested in and manage more than 60 hotels and 10 restaurant concepts nationwide.

White originally joined Sage Hospitality in 1995 as a regional controller and was quickly promoted to the CFO position. He left the Company in 2003 to join The Wellbridge Companies, a Denver-based owner of upscale fitness facilities nationwide, where as Chief Financial Officer he assisted with a successful recapitalization. In 2006, he joined Morgan Keegan & Company and served as a Senior Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions until July of this year.
Harris began his career in the hospitality industry with The Promus Companies, Inc., the owner of Embassy Suites, Hampton Inns, Homewood Suites and Harrah's Hotels and Casinos. He joined Promus as a Senior Financial Analyst in 1989 and was a Regional Finance and Accounting Manager when he left in 1995 to join Sage.
Born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, White earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Washington & Lee University and a Master of Business Administration from the Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University. He is pleased to be returning to Denver with his wife and two children.
