August 11, 2011 - NYLO Hotels is pleased to announce that it will officially re-open NYLO Providence/Warwick on Monday, August 15, 2011. This follows more than 12 months of reconstruction to the property's first floor following Rhode Island's historic floods in March 2010. The newly restored areas of the unique loft lifestyle hotel in Warwick include the front desk, lobby, meeting rooms, and The Loft - NYLO's signature ultra-social living area with state-of-the-art business center, library, and stylish bar and restaurant serving sophisticated comfort cuisine.

The NYLO Providence/Warwick was forced to temporarily close it doors after heavy rains soaked Rhode Island for weeks in March 2010, causing the Pawtuxet River in Warwick to crest and dump more than four feet of water into the hotel's first floor. As a result, the hotel experienced extensive damages to its entire first floor. Today NYLO Providence/Warwick is back up and running as operations have been fully restored and the hotel has started accepting reservations. The property has also named a new leadership team and is expected to hire 20 new employees.
